hello, hello! the holiday trip was extended for a few days after an unexpected illness on xmas evening. i have finally recovered and made my way home to send a big mahalo to all of you who made h|h their home page, subscribed to the feed/mailing list, &/or just stopped by from time to time to see what's new in the past year.

one of my resolutions this year is to find a way to get you to share your thoughts on stuff (been there/done that? love it/not so much? etc.) via the comment link at the end of each post (right down there. see it? just click on it to leave a note). hopefully, your resolution will be to participate every so often and embrace the relative anonymity of the internet to share your opinions. don't be shy!
